ITS Construction are currently recruiting for a Quanity Surveyor to join a major contractor who manage a range of contract types including new build Social Housing, small rediential builds and commercial projects and are very active in and around Cardiff. Given that this is a permanent role with such a client, the suitable candidate will have ample experience across different project types practicing a range of skills and responsibilites.
This role will largely be office-based and duties include working largely on tendering, ordering subcontractors, managing financial reports, carrying out site reviews, interim evaluations and contract orders where you will be working with and reporting to the senior commercial team. This is a great opportunity to practice and develop various skills and progress into a more senior role with a growing comopany in a permanent capacity.
Necessary Qualities:
* Have you worked across a range of project sectors - social housing, commercial and residential?
* Are you familiar and comfortable using multiple forms of contract, namely JCT and NEC?
* Are you well tested with dealing with subcontractors, ordering tender submissions and coordinating construction works?
