The Company:
Our client is a leading supplier to the global Automotive industry manufacturing interior textile products.
This is an excellent opportunity to move into an established successful business to manage and lead a strong production team within a highly progressive environment.
Salary of a Production Manager:
The position will be a day-based role, salary range offered is between GBP40,000 - GBP50,000.
Responsibilities of a Production Manager:
Organising production schedules and personnel by overseeing the production process.
Continuously improve production, quality and reduce costs by driving improvements to existing procedures and working methods.
Ensure repair and routine maintenance are carried out for production equipment by effectively executing maintenance plans.
Ensure production equipment, processes and supporting documentation for production are maintained in an effective and most efficient manner.
Skills & experience of a Production Manager:
Ideally Degree qualified in a management or engineering discipline.
Previous Automotive or High-volume PVC manufacturing experience.
In depth lean manufacturing/CI experience.
At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
