Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planner to join our world class manufacturing client based in Dunfermline.
You will be responsible for planning the manufacturing schedule to meet customer demand whilst utilising MRP to plan and monitor the flow of material.
Reporting to the Planning Manager, key responsibilities will include:
Plan and update manufacturing schedule to meet customer demand.
Use SAP to plan and monitor material flow to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
Consolidate and analyse information from engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to recommend stock levels.
Regularly meet with the project team to update on schedule status.
Responsible for maintenance of master data.Candidates:
Previous experience working in a similar role with experience in inventory analysis, demand/supply analysis and/or manufacturing schedule.
Understanding of procurement and manufacturing processes, also highly advantageous if you possess knowledge of BOM structures.
Advanced PC user, must be confident using MRP systems.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask in a face paced environment
