Our Client is a key player within the Fresh Chilled Food sector, supplying a prestigious retailer with a range of high quality products. We are proud to work alongside the business to offer the opportunity of NPD Technologist.
They role of NPD Development Technologist requires an innovative and forward thinking individual, passionate about the Food sector and looking for a new & exciting challenge.
Responsibilities include;
* Produce development samples that meet the requirements of the NPD brief.
* Lead product portfolio benchmarking activities and report back with EPD suggestions.
* Write initial customer QAS.
* Lead process handover meetings once customer approval is achieved, ensure all associated documentation is in place.
* Consider and validate process opportunities to take cost out of both existing product and new concepts through a commercially minded development approach.
* Completion of any customer NPD documentation
* Ensure that development process is followed and that each stage is completed accurately.
* Communicating with key stake holders and customers regarding development.
* Work with Site Buyer in sourcing new ingredients.
We require;
* Previous experience in a similar NPD / Process Development role with proven track record of successful product launches.
* Degree qualification (or equivalent)
* Product Development experience within food and/or beverage industry.
* Sensory analysis experience.
* High attention to detail.
* Good communication and team player.
* Demonstratable experience working under pressure.
Driving Licence required
Salary; Up to GBP25k
