Procurement and Operations Manager - Nottingham
Chase & Holland are working with a Nottingham based business as they look to recruit a Procurement and Operations Manager. This is a new position which gives you the ability to really make this role your own.
Procurement and Operations Manager responsibilities:
- Responsibility for Purchasing and Operational teams including leadership and development
- Building strong working relationships with a number of stakeholders across the business
- Working with management to ensure robust control of costs
- Monthly reporting to the Board
- Analyse sales and utilise findings to drive profitability
- Enhance the business's position by negotiating improved terms and better costs
- Create a sales and marketing strategy
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive business plans
- Optimise stock levels across the business working closely with the Procurement team
Key Requirements and Preferences:
- Relevant experience in as many of the above areas as possible
- A solid background in Purchasing with a strong operational and strategic flair
