Service/Location: Aspens - Ash House Cornford Lane, Pembury, Kent, TN2 4QU
Are you a confident caring support worker looking for a challenge?
Do you enjoy a challenging environment where you can make a real difference?
If yes then please read on.
Hello, I'm a man in my 60's and I'm looking for a support worker to help me at the weekends.
I'm a little shy at first but love very engaging people who talk to me a lot.
I love playing with my soft toys and organising my room along with the furniture. I also love being clean and normally have several baths per day!
I do have learning disabilities and Bipolar and can be verbally aggressive and throw things around. I don't mean to do this but get upset if I'm ignored or if everything is untidy.
I want somebody who can take me out to the coffee shop, for walks and other interesting places.
I really enjoy my food so I hope you are a good cook!
We are recruiting a support worker to work one to one every weekend on a part time basis, however extra shifts are available in different services if you would prefer full time hours.
This job does involve lone working and you would be required to cook, clean, deliver personal care, update care notes and administer medication. Full support and training will be provided.
