Role: Junior Web Designer

Location: Isle of Wight

Salary: GBP18,000 to GBP22,000 per annum (DOE)

Working Week: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 6:30pm

Our client is a fast-growing and entirely awesome home to some of the Isle of Wight's most creative residents. When they're not playing Mario Kart on an 8 meter screen or dressing up as superheroes at business events, they're delivering top-tier Web Design services to the very peak of Isle of Wight businesses and beyond. With clients in Hong Kong, Denmark, USA & more, Our client is looking for a Junior Web Designer to join the creative team.

Our client is looking for someone who isn't afraid to work hard, keep learning - but also someone who wants to have some fun doing it. You'll be creating & maintaining websites for a diverse portfolio of clients - their aim is to help businesses grow; so the job is also rewarding.

Key Points:

• Salary dependant on experience
• Working week: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am - 6:30pm
• Enthusiastic team with individual personalities
• Rapidly expanding, we have just doubled our office space

Essential Skills:

• Excellent knowledge of HTML
• Excellent knowledge of CSS
• Experience in WordPress
• Working knowledge of Illustrator & Photoshop
• Ability to work alone on projects and meet deadlines
• Hunger for learning & improving

Beneficial Skills:

• Knowledge of PHP
• Knowledge of Javascript
• Graphic design capabilities (especially with promotional print)
• Knowledge of servers & databases
