Job Title: Mobile Support Pest Technician
Salary: GBP29,972 (includes standby allowance) + company vehicle, pension, medical
Location: Role will cover sites throughout the Berkshire / Wiltshire / Hampshire, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall Regions - ideal candidates will be based around the Reading / Newbury / Swindon / Chippenham Areas
Standby: 1 week in every 4
Hours: 45 hours a week - Monday to Friday
Our client is a National Facilities Management company that operates across multi sites throughout the UK with an impressive client base which includes a major UK Supermarket retailer.
Due to excellent business expansion our client requires a motivated Mobile Support Pest Technician.
Covering a large geographical region throughout the Berkshire / Wiltshire / Hampshire, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Devon and Cornwall areas, the Mobile Support Pest Technician must be prepared to travel throughout the region on a daily basis to carry out planned and reactive Pest Support duties.
Ideal candidates will be based around the Reading / Newbury / Swindon / Chippenham Areas.
There will be occasions where you will have to stay away from home 1-2 nights a week (all expenses covered).
Candidates must have previous experience of the installation of bird netting, spikes, rodent proofing and building fabrication works.
The successful candidate will join an established Pest Control team in delivering a unique service delivery to their retail supermarket customer.
The successful applicant must have:
Minimum of 2 years experience in the Pest control industry
Experience in installing Pest Proofing Methods (bird netting nylon bristle strips and spikes etc)
Good General building maintenance and repair experience
Candidates must be RSPH Level 2 or BPCA Level 2 qualified
Full driving licence (ideally a clean licence)
And be:
Flexible in working hours
Well-presented
Highly motivated
Good Communication Skills and the ability to use your initiative
Able to work consistently to a high standard
Flexible with daily travel and occasional overnight stays
