Interim Accountant

Pratap Partnership is working with a leading business in Leicester to recruit an accountant for at least a year but also has the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

This is a high profile business in the area with a hugely successful future and a well established brand. The finance division is expanding due to growth and they are now looking to add an interim accountant for a period of at least a year. Your main duties will include:

• Preparing and reporting management accounts
• Reconciling control accounts
• Analysing and Submitting VAT Returns
• Analysing, calculating and reporting WIP
• Costing, capitalising and invoicing
• Analysing and correcting overhead cost
• Taking on projects and putting their own stamp
• Working alone with minimum supervision
• Working along non-finance member to discuss figures
• Assisting with year end and audit

You will have previous experience in most of the areas above and will be able to demonstrate a solid background in management accounts and business partnering.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a challenging business and really get to grips with both the numbers the commercials.
