Manufacturer of cleaning equipment requires a dynamic Business Development Manager to build relationships in the West Midlands.

Day-to-day responsibility for all direct customers within designated region and the servicing of end-user sites for key and strategic accounts as defined by the UK Sales Director.

Minimum revenue responsibility of GBP(phone number removed) (subject to annual revision)

The role may require etravel or occasional nights away from home

Operates within agreed territory plan under the daily supervision of a Regional Sales Manager.

This role will require the ability to deal across functions, from shop floor personnel through to senior managers and decision makers within the customer organisation.

Role Purpose -
To increase marketshare and market awareness within given sectors/postcodes, through sales of a full range of Material Handling Equipment and services. This includes expanding regional penetration industries and applications.

Role Responsibilities:
----------------------

* Sales of Material Handling Equipment into given sectors of the market.

* Using customer/prospect database to plan activity and then report. This includes management of own diary and completing all relevant reports in line with Jungheinrich requirements.

* Growth of Prospect Database.

* Ownership of customer requirements and management of needs.

* Deal with any customer issues through to resolution.

* Prospect new business through phone and field activity.

* Use and update Jungheinrich database to create a pipeline of future prospects.

* Complete all training as required
