Liverpool John Moores University is launching an on-campus permanent & temporary recruitment solution, Unitemps, through a wholly owned subsidiary.  Unitemps at Liverpool John Moores University will improve connection to degree-level talent for local employers and provide fresh structure to the university’s internal student workforce. The Unitemps franchise was created in 1997 by the University of Warwick and the network now operates in 18 universities across the UK and Australia. We are seeking a team member who will hit the ground running and make this exciting new venture a success.

Are you an organised, engaging and tenacious individual who enjoys working under their own initiative? Do you enjoy the buzz that comes from being part of a committed team, where there will always be something to be getting on with? We have an exciting opportunity within our Unitemps office through which you will build relationships across Liverpool John Moores University and the Liverpool City Region and to make a transformative difference to our students & graduates.

Working closely with the Branch Manager, you will independently handle temporary & permanent assignments on behalf of a diverse range of internal & external clients, providing excellent customer service. You will generate opportunities from new and existing clients, organise shortlisting & selection processes and provide students with advice, support & encouragement, towards brokering the best possible fit between client and candidate. You will carry out all the operational and administrative tasks necessary to the efficient and effective running of a dynamic new venture.

We are looking for a motivated and resilient individual with a desire to learn and develop. Applicants will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, along with a keen eye for detail and proven strengths in: time & project management; numeracy & financial administration; ICT literacy; and communicating in professional and engaging manner, up to a senior level.
