Purpose of the role
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of charitable and not-for-profit organisations engaged with Appco UK Ltd for the provision of successful donor acquisition campaigns.
You will provide robust strategic planning and effective leadership for impeccable campaign set-up, roll-out and development, with responsibility for strategic and day-to-day management of each campaign within your client portfolio.
You will be the lead point of contact for clients and suppliers, working directly with operational staff and key stakeholders dealing with all campaign requirements.
You will need to excel at providing solutions and identifying campaign development and innovation to maximise the effectiveness and profitability of the campaigns, whilst being fully conversant and compliant with all the laws, regulations and codes that govern professional face to face fundraising.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage strong key stakeholder relationships
· Product development / innovation
· Client contract negotiation
· Develop client campaign materials and training for each fundraising campaign in line with all legal and regulatory requirements
· Plan and manage forecasts, ensuring they are deliverable
· Liaise with all internal departments and external suppliers to meet or exceed all campaign deliverables
· Facilitate and host client campaign meetings with fundraising teams to achieve maximum understanding, education and affinity with the charity’s aims.
· Lead on the development of reporting suites in line with business and charity requirements
· Deliver quarterly performance review meetings with clients and company senior management team highlighting action plans to enhance the campaign success and income streams for the charity and company.
The successful candidate must possess the following ‘Essential Knowledge, Skills and Attributes’:
· Experience in similar type of Account Management role within the fundraising sector
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent
· Proven experience of Contract Negotiation within the fundraising sector
· Fully conversant with all laws, regulations and codes governing professional face to face fundraising within the countries of the UK
· Expert working knowledge and experience of direct marketing within charitable organisations
· Experience and track record of successful marketing campaigns
· Experience in planning and managing forecasts as against Key Performance Indicators
· Highly organised
· Excellent project management skills with proven experience in developing business cases, financial modelling and project implementation
· Excellent communication skills including proven experience of presenting and training course creation and delivery
· Excellent solution provider
· Ability to work to tight deadlines, working both independently and in a team
· Ability and familiarity in managing people and situations
We can offer a salary of £35K - £40K, depending on experience.
