Overview: Laboratory Supervisor
Permanent - Full Time
West Midlands
Competitive salary dependent upon experience
Role:
To oversee and perform, the stability program, validation testing, cleaning validation studies, method transfers and analytical method development.
- Supervisory role of the Laboratory Support Analysts Liaise and supervisor laboratory contract service providers.
- Oversee the Analytical method Validation schedule and produce annual report for the Validation Master Plan.
- Perform analytical work for method transfers and carry out training of Quality Control staff where necessary and associated reporting.
- Oversee the Cleaning Validation Schedule and the production of annual reports for the VMP.
- Oversee laboratory equipment qualification schedule and produce annual report for the VMP.
- The design and implementation of qualification/validation studies for equipment/systems/processes and subsequent reporting.
- Ensure laboratory equipment is suitably qualified, calibrated and maintained.
- Oversee stability analysis schedule and production of protocols & reports to support the PQR review process.
- Review of pharmacopoeia monographs and implementation of any changes to test methodology/ specifications for raw materials, analytical techniques and equipment.
- Establish and maintain Laboratory Support KPIs. Process improvements Ensure aspects of GCLP are met.
- Various duties as allocated by the Quality Control Manager.
Your skills:
- Degree or equivalent in Chemistry or a Science related subject.
- Significant laboratory experience overseeing all areas: analytical, validation, equipment, data, and VMP's.
- The design and implementation of qualification/validation studies for equipment/systems/processes and subsequent reporting.
- GMP manufacturing experience.
- Supervisory or training of junior staff.
