Wellsway Multi Academy Trust is at an exciting stage in its development. The Trust currently comprises of thirteen schools with more planning to join and is moving towards its vision of being a truly inclusive provider of 4-19 education in East Bristol and Bath.
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic cook in charge to lead the development and growth of Zest; the in-house catering and hospitality service within Wellsway Multi Academy Trust Schools, based in our Bath Studio school/Aspire school campus.
The ideal candidate will have catering experience within a busy café or education environment.
The key skills are that you can ensure a comprehensive and professional food and beverage operation, preparing fresh food and the selling of hot and cold beverages. Ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are adhered too and maintained. The successful candidate will be able to effectively deliver a quality product, to pre plan and support a variety of catering requirements for the customers at both schools.
The successful candidate would ideally hold a catering qualification and food hygiene certificate. Knowledge of COSHH would be advantageous however training will be provided.
This role will suit someone who enjoys interacting with customer’s front of house and one who is interested in providing a good customer service.
This will be a permanent post working during the term time only, although occasional hours out of term, may be required with advance notification.
