Parts Assistant

Onboard Power Ltd is the UK’s largest provider of bespoke vehicle installations, mobile compressed air and electrical solutions. From small 12cfm piston compressors and 40cfm screw compressors fitted to tyre service vehicles through to 100cfm utility vehicles. In addition to the compressed air, we also install, service and repair the latest automatic video wheel balancers and 12v tyre machines.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated Parts Assistant to work within a busy workshop environment.

Working under the supervision of the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for taking delivery and checking of incoming parts, parts management duties and packaging/despatching of parts via our courier service daily dependant on customer/engineer requirements.

In order to be successful in this role, you will ideally have prior knowledge of a parts bar-coding system, although this is not essential as training can be given.

Engineering/Stores experience would also be a distinct advantage, along with a counterbalance and/or reach FLT licence but this can be awarded after a qualifying period.

Computer literacy, including experience of Outlook, Word and Excel, is also essential.

Due to the nature of the role, we expect the successful candidate to be physically fit and have a flexible approach to work which is sometimes outside normal working hours. You should ideally possess a full UK driving licence and will live within a commutable distance of Liversedge.

Normal working hours: 08.00 – 16.30
