You're not ordinary, and neither are our Shift Managers .
Our Transport Shift Managers are the best of the best - they not only love to create a great team working environment, but they take real pride in helping to keep our massive distribution operations running smoothly.
It's hard work, but our team make it look easy!
The Role:
To implement distribution plans for the Distribution function to meet current/future customer service requirements and continually improve cost efficiency/quality of service in line with the Distribution Centre goals.
Key Accountabilities:
• Communication Cascade (two-way)
• Distribution Centre Security
• Input into and implementation of Distribution & Operational strategy in line with Distribution Centre goals
• Management of Distribution assets
• Stock integrity
• Compliance with current Transport Legislation
Skills & Qualifications:
Ideally we are looking for people with the following skills and experience:
• 2 years supervisory experience within a distribution operation and a full understanding of current commercial vehicle legislation.
• Man management, commercial, analytical and communication skills.
• Change manager.
• PC and systems literate.
