Quantity Surveyor
Quantity Surveyor | Main Contractor | Industrial
I am looking for a Quantity Surveyor on a Freelance basis to work for a multidisciplinary leading contractor who turnover GBP500m+ per year. This will be an immediate start with a minimum contract duration of 18 months. My client is happy to pay up to GBP350 per day (depending on experience).
Reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, the successful Quantity Surveyor will be the no.2 on site and will be working within a team to deliver a large industrial warehouse project located on a logistic park in East London. This is a hands-on role and I am looking for a QS with experience taking industrial warehouse projects through from conception to completion.
Not only will you be picking up guaranteed long term work, but you will also have the chance to work for a contractor who have a solid reputation and are growing year on year.
Requirements for this Quantity Surveyor position:
Must be HNC qualified or above
Have experience managing your own project or multiple projects.
Experience working on industrial projects from conception to completion
Computer literate - must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
A track record of working with teams and training/ mentoring junior staff
Excellent communication skills, verbally and written
Good organisational skills
Must have solid experience with variations
