JOB TITLE: Care Assistant / Carer / Support Workers

SALARY & BENEFITS: Pay between GBP8.21 and GBP9.00 per hour plus free learning and development opportunities that includes an in house development plan as well as e learning and potential for nationally recognised qualifications.

WORKING HOURS: Full Time & Part Time, Day and Night opportunities available

They offer the very best of care, including residential, nursing and specialist dementia care and currently have a new opportunities for Full Time and Part Time Care Assistant / Carer / Support Workers to join their existing team at The New Thursby(FY8 2RN) a General Nursing Home or Lytham Court (FY8 5QG) a Nursing Home for people with Dementia.

The company offers free learning and development opportunities, for the right candidate that includes an in house development plan as well as e learning and nationally recognised qualifications.

THE ROLE: As a Care Assistant / Carer / Support Worker you will support residents to live the best life possible through the provision of high quality safe care that meets every individual's personal and social needs. You will work within a friendly team. You will be required to work some weekends.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to start or develop a career within Health & Social care as for the right candidate full extensive training opportunities will be provided by the employer. Progression to Senior Care Assistant or Care Home practitioner is attainable within the company.

A DBS check is required for this post and will be paid for by Century Healthcare

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Care Assistant / Carer / Support Worker role will ideally have previous experience working with elderly people, although this is not essential as full free training will be provided for committed and willing candidates with the right empathetic and caring mind set. It is essential you are a naturally caring and compassionate person who is resilient, confident and enjoys working with others, and is someone who has excellent communication skills. Candidates must also live within or be able to easily commute to Lytham St Annes or Lytham Lancashire.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Care Assistant / Carer / Support Worker role:-

• Either previous experience as a carer or be committed to working towards qualifications
• Must live within commutable distance to Lytham or Lytham St Annes Lancashire
• Must have the right caring mind set and be passionate about helping people
• Will need to be an outgoing, caring and empathetic person
