Costs Paralegal/Draftsman
Badenoch and Clark are currently recruiting on behalf of a top tiered law firm, who are seeking a Costs Paralegal for their team in Sheffield.
The role is within the costs offering for the Dispute Resolution section of the firm to include civil, commercial and Arbitral claims.
Costs services include: the preparation of costs schedules, budgets (Precedents H and R) and costs budgets for group litigation costs management to the preparation of Bills of Costs, Points of Disputes, and Replies. The firm may appear before the SCCO, in local courts and in Arbitral matters.
Previous experience within legal costs is preferred (minimum 6 months working in costs) with excellent organisational skills and exceptional communication skills; who can interact with Partners and Fee earners.
You will also have:
* Client care skills (telephone, email and face to face)
* Excellent time management skills/ability to prioritise conflicting deadlines
* Experience of managing own matters
* Ability to work well in a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
