Role: Field-based Sales Manager

Salary: GBP22,000 - GBP 30,000 DOE + uncapped commission + share options

Location: Chester / Manchester / Liverpool

Our Client:

We are now acting on behalf of a well-established printing services and consumables company. Headquartered in the North-West, our client has been operating for 10 years. They provide managed print solutions and print consumablesto a broad customer base, from SME's to businesses with an international presence, to healthcare trusts and educational establishments. They have traditionally run a very lean business model, however due to recent investment are looking to upscale considerably over the next 12-36 months, with their sights set firmly on national growth. With that in mind, they now seek an experienced field sales manager with experience of the printing services industry to join and lead up the sales function of their company.

The Role:

This is a 360 field sales position. Working closely with the senior management of this business to discuss your sales strategy, your role will be to generate sales, using a mixture of your own network, as well as capitalising on recommendations from existing clients and growing existing accounts. Nothing and nowhere in the UK is out of bounds. You will be responsible for hitting organisational sales targets and building your pipeline of prospective clients - ensuring that meaningful relationships are built along the way. Your earnings potential through commission will not be capped on any level and the commission structure is very much in favour of whoever brings in the business. As you begin to generate revenue, you will be given the opportunity to grow and build your own sales team of sales executives to be based all over the UK. Our client is keen to ensure you have everything you need to make your job a success and with that in mind, you will not be required to work from head office, unless you choose to, of course. There will be company share options in this role as well. What is refreshing is how invested this company is to retain and incentivise good staff.

Requirements for the role:

You will be an experienced, enthusiastic and money-hungry sales executive with a background in print service sales (essential). Prospecting for business and closing sales will come as second nature to you. You will know what it takes to make a business like this a success and you will be ready to take up a senior role in an organisation with growth firmly on the future agenda. You will be highly personable in your approach, loyal to your company and able to pitch in person and on the phone. Dealing with objections will not phase you. As this is a field-based role, you must be able to work autonomously, whilst also being conscious of the company's needs. You will share the same vision for growth, and be ready to build your sales team.
