Starfish Services runs a project as part of an Evolve ESF-funded project to support unemployed or economically inactive adults within Cannock to improve their employability.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to represent this project, developing and delivering training programmes to meet the needs of all clients. The successful candidate will assess the training needs and support individual clients progressing through to peer and volunteer coaching and mentoring, as appropriate.
Title: Project Co-ordinator
Location: Cannock
Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Contract: Fixed term until June 2022 (subject to funding)
Salary: GBP21,478 per annum
This post is funded through National Lottery Community Fund and the European Union through the European Social Fund.
Duties will include:
* Promoting the PACT community hub model concept and programme to all the delivery partners for the Evolve BBO programme.
* Promoting the PACT community hub model to participants on the Evolve BBO programme.
* Engaging with existing participants on the Evolve BBO programme to encourage them to take part in Hub activities.
* Working with participants on the Evolve BBO programme to design and develop Hub activities.
Previous experience in a training delivery role is essential as is highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate empathy and a non-judgemental approach. You will need excellent IT knowledge along with a good understanding of the voluntary sector. Applicants must have completed 'Train the Trainer' or an equivalent course as well as holding a minimum of a Level 3 QCF qualification or equivalent.
