Seeking a Cleanroom / Sensor Technician - Ely
We are looking for skilled candidates to join our clients manufacturing department. This is an urgent role requiring a quick start date and will be employed on a temporary to permanent basis. To be suitable for this role you will have worked in cleanroom / laboratory type conditions and be comfortable in intricate work.
Start: ASAP
Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Hours: 08:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday with 30 minutes for lunch, and 08:00 to 14:00 Friday with 30 minutes for lunch. (Most people take lunch at 1:30 - 14:00)
Hourly Rate: GBP9.85 per hour + holiday pay
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Key duties:
* Manual handling of delicate glass wafer
* Scraping away excess polymer
* Scribing to breakout individual tiles
* Working a fully automated solder table for pin application to tiles
* Performing visual inspections under microscope to ensure quality conformance
* Pre-testing of sensing element to determine suitability prior to a 2-point RH calibration
* Data processing, recording and report generation for end user
Skills and Experience Required:
* Enthusiastic, with good communication skills
* Self-motivated with high levels of commitment and focus
* Desire to produce work to a very high standard of quality
* Flexibility to adapt to varied nature of work and workload
* Good manual dexterity for delicate wafer handling
* Ability to work from verbal and written instructions
* Meticulous attention to detail and record keeping
* Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite ideal but not essential
