Supported Housing Night Concierge Worker / Project Worker

Salary: £20,760.00 per annum pro rata based on full time

Various locations, throughout : Croydon, Lambeth, Bromley and Kensington & Chelsea

Contract: Permanent

 

Shifts: 9.5 hours from 21.30 to 07.30 (with half an hour unpaid break)

Contracted hours: 4 on/4 off rotational pattern. Regular weekend working is required. Periodically, day working is required for training and team meetings. 

Part-time hours are also available as an Evolve bank worker

About the Role

All of their projects operate over 24 hours a day, seven days a week including weekends and bank holidays, they cater for customers who range in age from 16 years old up to the age of 65, with a range of support needs, some of which are complex. The Night Concierge will work within projects that provide accommodation delivering a high quality and responsive night service to customers and the community.

The Night Concierge Workers form a key part of they delivering safe and secure accommodation for vulnerable customers with complex needs. The role is varied, not only providing an essential front-of-house presence to their customers, but also carrying out health & safety checks, ensure safety of the customers and dealing or escalating queries and complaints as they arise overnight.

 

About You

  • You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive the best possible support from whilst with them. To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Empathy towards vulnerable and homeless people and a passion to want to provide safe and secure accommodation to those most vulnerable in society.
  • A positive and dynamic attitude to working at times in a challenging environment.
  • Energy and drive, including the ability to stay fully alert and proactive throughout the entirety of the shift.
  • Understanding of what delivering excellent customer service is and a commitment to doing so.
  • Excellent communication skills
