Position: CNC Turner Programmer Sliding Head
Salary: GBP14ph - GBP17ph
Location: Portsmouth
Beacon are looking for a CNC Turner Programmer familiar with Sliding Head machines using Fanuc controls for this exciting position with a Market leading Engineering company based in Portsmouth.
Main duties:
* Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Machines using Fanuc controls.
* Maintain highest quality throughout the process, including dimensionally inspect manufactured product, using a variety of measuring equipment.
* To be able to work on their own initiative and understand the manufacturing processes.
* Be a team player, promoting and supporting a culture of continual improvement, 5s and Lean manufacturing standards.
The package:
Shift or Day's
Hours: 07:30 to 16:30 with early finish on Friday
Shift: Day shift or double days are available
Wage: GBP14ph - GBP17ph neg
Overtime: Available at 1.5x hourly rate.
Pension: 3% contribution from employer.
Holiday: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.
