To help us to reach this aim, we are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to be based at our modern offices in the heart of Walsall.

This role is in place to support the Transactions Service Manager in ensuring both income and expenditure transactions are posted accurately and timely.

You will also have responsibility for assurance on rents and service charges, including responsibility for the annual rent process. In addition this role will provide support and cover for the Transactions Service Manager on Accounts payable, as and when required.

As part of this role you will be required to assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to provide assurance to Senior Management that rents have been calculated in line with statutory and regulatory requirements and recorded correctly on the Rent Accounting System. 

The successful candidate will need to possess significant, recent experience of operating within a Rent and Service Charge environment, alongside, experience of developing and maintaining effective administration systems.

Experience of reconciliations is also considered essential as you will be expected to perform the monthly Rent Reconciliations.
