The Terrace Theme changestwice a year inspired by the travels of Sir Winston Churchill and his wifeClementine. Guests can also purchase a selection of cigars, supplied by theUK's leading Cuban cigar importer Hunters & Frankau.

About the job
The Bar Manager is accountable for managingand supporting colleagues with all aspects of the Churchill Bar experience,focussing on guest and colleague satisfaction. Reporting to the Director ofFood & Beverage, some of the key responsibilities include but are notlimited to:
?? To develop the leadership skills of leaders in the bar. This includesthe development of decision making skills, performance management techniques,function planning ability, process mapping and analysis and sense of urgencyand ownership
?? To ensure effective working relationships and clear communication aremaintained with all colleagues and leaders in the bar and other departments
?? To critically assess procedures, policies and methods of operation andalter them where necessary in order to maximise results.
?? To ensure the financial success of the department by monitoringproductivities, revenues and costs.
?? responsible to mentor and coach colleagues, ensuring maximum engagementand motivation
?? responsible to recruit future talent and manage performance of the team
?? To create and implement all beverage menus in cooperation with the HeadBartender as well as work closely with the kitchen on the creation of all foodmenus.
?? To ensure that all financial targets are achieved.
Please note this role is a Maternity Cover from January 2019.
About you
With your passion andstrong people skills, you are always striving to deliver a great service forguests. Ideally you have already gained work experience in the same or similarrole, preferably within a prestigious hotel environment or a stand-alone bar athigh quality of service. You are passionate about drinks and innovation andmotivated to change and grow.
