Chef de Partie
Location: Hadley Park House Hotel, Telford TF1 6QJ
Salary: GBP18K per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hadley Park House Hotel are now recruiting!
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join us on a permanent basis to deliver an excellent standard of food to all our guests, maintaining the Hotel's Rosette, Hygiene certification and reputation.
Hadley Park House Hotel is an award-winning four-star luxury hotel and wedding venue in Shropshire which incorporates the award-winning AA Rosette Conservatory Restaurant. Many have described our Telford hotel as a hidden gem set within 2 acres of landscaped gardens.
As an independently owned Shropshire hotel, we strive to provide a welcoming, comfortable and relaxing stay; guests are more than just a number, to us individuality matters!
Main responsibilities of the Chef de Partie:
* Ensure that a high standard of preparation and presentation is achieved before any dish leaves the kitchen
* Ensure that all sections are set up and prepared for the days ahead
* Check kitchen stocks and highlight any requirements
* Oversees staff on the section, training on the job, and ensure that the section runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Ensure excellent standards in health, safety and hygiene.
* Ensure that all food items are dated
* Keep up to date with menus and current promotions
* Report any maintenance or health and safety issues immediately to line manager
* Always adhere to all company policies and procedures and licensing laws
Skills, experience and personal qualities required:
* Have a great level of customer service skill, being smiley, professional and polite during every exchange
* Be discreet and tactful when required
* Demonstrate a good knowledge for faces - regulars like to be recognised
* Be able to prioritise duties
