Seymour John are currently working on behalf of the Children's Services service of a local authority in the North of England, who are seeking a Programme Manager to help them improve their provision of end to end care across the service. The ideal candidate for this role will have significant experience in the development and transformation of Children's Services arena, particularly with reference to understanding the differing requirements for children of differing ages coming through the service.
The role requires subject matter expertise as well as programme management competencies. This individual will deliver their outcomes alongside and across other Programme Managers dealing with discreet areas of focus across the Service, so the ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to collaborate is essential for the role.

- Continuous programme management throughout the programme lifecycle;
- Manage the delivery of the programme outcomes, and any project or task and finish groups;
- Support the Programme SROs;
- Collaborate with the Programme Coordinators in the creation and coordination and monitoring of programme delivery plans, risk and issue management and reporting, using PPM tools;
- Coordinating the projects and their interdependencies;
- Successfully hand over the management of the programme to an internal resource on the completion of the contract.
