Waste Manager required for a fantastic opportunity based in Trowbridge
Role
- You will lead on the development of performance reports and action plans for the Household Waste strategy with Wiltshire Council. You will report directly to the Head of Waste Management,
- You will provide essential senior and professional "technical specialist" capacity to the Heads of Service and Senior Management Team in closely managing the service delivery contracts in place and ensuring these keep pace with required improvements in order to allow the council to continue to meet its statutory obligations and its strategic and local objectives.
- The Waste and Recycling Manager (Technical) will be the primary lead on day to day senior management of the material, composting and residual waste management contracts and empowered to take appropriate actions to ensure that the contracted services perform satisfactorily and are maintained and formally updated to account for all necessary contract changes and variations as required
