BE Recruitment are currently recruiting Fabber/Leather Trimming Operatives for our brand new client in the Longford area of Coventry on a guaranteed temp to perm basis.
Our client have recently picked up addtional work with several of there automotive manufacturing customers and require Fabber/Leather Trimming Operatives to work on 7am-3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am-12pm Friday overtime is available and all workers can expect to be taken on permanently after a 13 week qualifying period.
The paygrade for this role is GBP8.21-GBP9.37 per hour dependent upon experience and rises over time whilst working on the agency and progressing towards permanent work.
Duties for these roles include the manipulation and trimming of leather hide this can be done by hand, using scissors and/or other cutting tools and hairdryers to help shape and move the leather. Hide/Leather will then be glued, stapled or sown onto car seats. On the fabber side it involves putting foam into sub strutts in prep for the trimmers.
Work is clean and light and set in a nice working environment which has all the latest facilities available to workers. Suitable candidates will preferable have experience doing this role within a similar environment in the automotive industry.
