My client is a friendly, well established company committed to providing an excellent service, great value for money and outstanding customer service. Established in 1999, they have grown year on year by providing a professional, quality service at affordable prices. They currently service around 500 customers across Southern England. Despite their fast growth, they still care about every customer and every contract. They pride ourselves on their attention to detail and delivery of a thorough, reliable high quality service. To help drive their continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Sales Executive to join their expanding team, which currently consists of six each with their own territory across the south of England. The team is headed by the Sales Manager.
As part of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving business as they continue to expand. You will be required to:
* Spend 2-3 days per week telemarketing and prospecting for new business from their Berkshire Head Office
* Utilise various research methods to target businesses and their key contacts, including online tools such as LinkedIn
* Book a minimum of 6 qualified appointments per week in your designated area (RG and surrounding areas or Bucks amd Oxon)
* Travel to the prospective customer sites to attend appointments, survey buildings and provide quotes for daily cleaning services
* Responsible for price negotiations and objection handling
* Create and maintain new business relationships and manage the sale through to close. A typical sales cycle is 4 - 6 weeks
* Sales targets are about GBP5k of new business per month (based on the monthly value of a new, 12 month contract), plus an appointment target of 5 per week.
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
*Please note that this role is responsible for generating new business; it is not Account Management.
The ideal candidate will have
* Good communication skills
* Strong desire to succeed
* A minimum of 12 months sales or telemarketing experience
* Self-motivation
* Drive and tenacity
* Excellent prospecting skills
* Valid UK driver's license
* A smart appearance
* Strong communication skills
*Experience in the services sector would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given.
A basic salary of up to GBP23k per annum, with uncapped commissions, providing an achievable OTE of GBP40k. companycar, mobile phone, laptop or iPad, up to 25 days annual leave (depending on length of service) and a NEST pension scheme.
