Our client manages the procurement and supply chain strategies and projects for a number of key London-based NHS Hospitals. With plans for investment and growth, they are set to double the headcount in their procurement division based in the heart of London.

They are looking for someone with experience in either public/private sector sourcing in clinical procurement (Radiology, Orthopedic, Surgical equipment) to support projects and manage a portfolio of high profile and complex projects and contracts.

Key responsibilities:

• Maximise value of all non-pay expenditure from the supply chain by leading on the clinical procurement category
• Take full accountability of assigned strategical clinical projects in line with the company's plan
• Line-manage a buyer and share purchasing responsibility
• Sourcing suppliers, negotiating robust SLAs and awarding contracts
• Manage senior internal and external stakeholders (Deputy Directors of Finance, Operations and Procurement)

Responsibilities:

• Experience in sourcing clinical equipment such as radiology/ machinery and surgical equipment
• Experience of people management, coaching and supporting staff
• Working knowledge of NHS and Public sector procurement
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• OJEU
• Working towards CIPS
• Degree Educated 2.1 and above
• Knowledge of procurement platforms such as Ariba, SAP and Oracle
