Potato Graders are required for a Large Potato Harvester on the outskirts of Scarborough. Our client is looking to expand their team now they are running in to peak harvesting season, graders are required to filter and quality check potatoes prior to dispatch.
You can expect to earn GBP8.63 - GBP9.20 per hour as a potato grader, depending on age, with overtime available also after 39 hours.
Due to the nature of the role as a Potato Grader, you may experience fluctuation of hours on a weekly basis.
As a Potato Grader you will be required to;
Grade potatoes on size and quality
Removing debris such as rocks and stones from the line
Work on grading machines both as they are harvested and also when in the warehouse
Work at a fast pace.To be considered as a Potato Grader
Previous experience within an agricultural role is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
Have a flexible approach to hours during the season you may be required to work long shifts including some weekends
