If you are passionate about keeping children safe in education this is a great opportunity to join the Hull City Learning and Skills team to carry out a vital role with schools and partners. You must be a credible and skilled professional in the realm of education and safeguarding.

You must have successful experience of the Safeguarding leadership role in an education setting and be able to challenge and support school leaders and practitioners to meet their duties with regard to keeping children safe.

You will be required to work closely with safeguarding professionals in a range of agencies, lead training, and consultation and develop safeguarding systems/practice. You must be familiar with the changing requirements of DFE and Ofsted for schools and interpret them. You will be called upon to support schools and assist in ensuring they are aware of the national and local safeguarding challenges and contexts.
