Salary £31,017 per annum

Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week)

We are currently seeking a Tenancy Sustainment Advisor / Housing Advisor to take the lead on supporting Housing Management and Rent Recovery teams in relation to working with tenants with Mental Health issues and ensure best practice in this area.

 

You will work within the Tenancy Intervention and Enforcement Team to identify and implement a range of effective proactive interventions, campaigns and initiatives, including the provision of training, in order to promote and enable our customers to achieve successful management of their tenancies. 

 

You will have experience of mental health and will be confident with your approach when dealing with referrals of customers to appropriate providers of support advice and advocacy. You will offer your expertise and support in relation to welfare benefits, budgeting, money management, fuel poverty and consumer credit, in order to maximise income and promote financial income.

 

The successful candidate must have extensive experience of managing complex advice caseloads and previous experience of monitoring service improvement and their outcomes is also essential. Further to this knowledge of mental health issues in a similar environment is required.
