HR Business Partner; Permanent; Preston based; Salary up to GBP50k plus car allowance

Search HR are pleased to be currently partnering a leading blue collar business based in the North West. Reporting into the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Business Partner will lead on a range of HR initiatives including policies and procedures, succession planning and employee relations; acting as a representative for the HR function.

Based on the candidates input not output, the position offers flexibility around working from regional offices as well as from home. Due to the dynamic and fast paced nature of this business and position, the successful candidate will be proactive in their delivery focused approach to a diverse and changing workload, providing a fill HR consultancy to the organisation.

The successful candidate's duties will include (but not limited to):
*Leading & supporting with a range of change initiatives;
*Policy & procedure evaluation and change within market trends and legislation;
*Taking the lead on HR system improvements;
*Guiding & coaching in the development of senior managers;
*Leading and acting as a key support figure for the wider HR team;
*Pro-actively manage partnerships with specialist and shared service teams;
*Drive communication and employee engagement across the wider business;
*To lead on HR projects which will support the future / long-term objectives of the business;
*Follow financial implications and budgets closely;
*Undertake any other reasonable ad hoc duties, including projects, as and when required.

Essential criteria:
*Previous & extensive experience in a Senior HR role, in a blue collar working environment;
*Minimum CIPD level 5 qualified, Level 7 preferred;
*Completely proficient in MS packages (Excel and Word)
*HR enthusiast
