My client is a multi-industry manufacturing business looking to grow their team within their facility based in Stourbridge. This manufacturing site specialises in Automotive components and assemblies. They're currently looking for 2 Maintenance Technicians (Electrically Bias) with experience within a Plastic Injection Moulding environment to join their growing team.
Maintenance Technician
Job Description
* Carry out preventative maintenance and ensuring that all plant machinery is in a safe condition
* To contribute to preventative maintenance development/maintenance schedules
* Responding to breakdowns and being able to identify root cause efficiently reducing downtime as much as possible
* Responsible for responding to any environmental incident and being part of an emergency response team
* Maintaining stores inventory
* To play a versatile role within the maintenance team getting involved with site maintenance as well as machinery maintenance
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications required:
* Knowledge and experience of maintaining Injection Moulding Machinery
* City & Guilds 236 parts 1 & 2 or Similar Qualification

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications required:
* 17th/18th Edition Electrical Qualification
* Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship
* Experience around Hydraulic/Pneumatic systems
* Knowledge and understanding of PLC maintenance
