An educational provider in West Yorkshire is looking for two permanent HR Assistants to join them at two sites to work closely with the Principal and School Business Manager to develop and implement a school talent management retention strategy and create pro-active recruitment strategies. Successful candidates will be expected to work closely with the School Business Manager in respect of all HR and Personnel matters and assist the School Business Manager in researching, developing, implementing and effectively communicating HR policies and procedures in line with legislation, best practice and the school's requirements. This role is perfect for working parents as it covers term time only menaing you could be at home with the kids over school holidays!

Duties will include:

* To manage all administrative processes related to the HR function, including recruitment and selection, appointments, resignations and changes to terms and conditions of employment.

* To be responsible for the maintenance of up-to-date accurate personnel records in accordance with statutory and audit requirements.

* To effectively monitor and report staff absence and ensure that return to work interviews take place as necessary, drawing any concerns to the attention of the School Business Manager and other senior staff.

* To attend meetings as requested and take accurate minutes and prepare papers as necessary.

* To produce the annual pay statements for staff as required and complete all documentation for any leavers, which affect the accurate processing of the school's payroll.

Applicants should have:

* Administration experience in a public or private sector setting

* 3 years' experience in HR or Recruitment is desirable

* Sound Knowledge of employment Law

* Possess or working towards a CIPD or equivalent qualification
