HR Co-ordinator - Shared Services

Our HR Co-ordinators provide a proactive and professional service to the Retail & Logistics functions, combining general HR administrative duties with project work to continuously improve the Shared Services delivery to our internal customers.

Learning from our team of experienced HR Advisors & Business Partners, you'll develop your general ER & HR knowledge, taking responsibility for your own workload of short and long term sickness, AWOL and long term absence cases.

About the Role

• Provide a speedy and efficient service to the HR Advisors, Business Partners and Shared Service HR Manager in response to all HR queries and administrative tasks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Support the HR Advisors in providing HR Advice to Store and Logistics Management teams.
• Maintain all tracking databases including ER, flexible working, long term sick, recruitment, leavers and right to work, alongside the HR Administrators.
• Maintain change of details processes, producing standard letters and keeping the HR Advisors & Payroll Team fully informed of all changes.
• Support Logistics Management by attending meetings at the Distribution Centre during weekend and evening shifts and being part of an on-call rota (Saturday) to support Retail Management teams.
• Provide administrative support to all Logistics & Retail teams to ensure that paperwork relating to disciplinary matters is produced in a timely and accurate manner, including invite letters, outcome letters and minutes of meetings.
• Provide support to Managers and their teams at investigatory hearings i.e. disciplinary and grievance.
• Provide and maintain monthly HR statistics including absence, disciplinaries, probationary reviews, turnover/retention and recruitment.
• Arrange and conduct exit interviews for Logistics and Retail employees as required.
• Undertake ad hoc project work as and when required.

About You

To find the best people for our HR Shared Services team, we'd like you to have the following...

• Experience of working in a similar HR environment, ideally within a Retail, Logistics or Shared Service department
• Solid administration experience & strong IT skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service skills
• Good level of commercial awareness
• Ability to work as part of a fast paced team to tight deadlines
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
