As part of its value creation and growth strategy, Essar Oil UK has created an independent subsidiary, Stanlow Oil Terminal Limited, to enable the transfer of its infrastructure assets into the new company. Stanlow Oil Terminal Ltd will provide key operational services to Essar Oil UK Ltd and maximise third party opportunities from existing infrastructure assets. 


The Role

Stanlow Oil Terminal Ltd currently has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial and Business Development Manager to develop a long-term growth strategy for the business.

This role will be accountable for maximising EBITDA from securing third party business through a robust strategy for the marketing of both assets and services.

The Commercial and Business Development Manager will develop a strategy to market the storage and operational services available from the infrastructure assets at Tranmere and Stanlow. The infrastructure assets include bulk liquid tankage, marine jetties, pipeline connection and road gantry assets.

The incumbent will also successfully manage the long-term agreement with Essar Oil UK Ltd to ensure continuous availability of terminal services to Stanlow Refinery, and support in the continued growth and expansion of the Essar business in the UK.  


About You

Our ideal candidate will be dynamic and commercially strong, with demonstrable experience and knowledge of tank storage sales.

You will have a track record of client-relationship management, tracking markets and emerging trends and developing proposals, bids, pitch and plans and long term objectives for business sustainability and growth.
