I am currently recruiting for a well-established Food Production company based in Redditch. They are recruiting for Despatch Coordinator to start with them on a perm basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked in a fast paced production role previously.
The role is mainly admin based but you will work closely with the despatch team. A strong confident approach to communication is often required.

Purpose:
* To ensure that all relevant paperwork is correct and produced in timely manner
* To make sure that the shipping process is monitored daily and any issues raised to Despatch Manager
* Oversee & control all the despatch equipment - trays & pallets.
* Maintain transactions of all the despatch and receipt of equipment
* Ensure all despatch fixed assets are controlled and accounted for in accordance with the companies policies and procedures
* To challenge and dispute shorts with all customers
* Liaise with the finance team for order shortages and provide general administration support to the team.
* Check each customers dashboard (Tims, OCS) and provide daily feedback on the performance to despatch manager
* Communication with all hauliers for arranging collections
* Maintain and update all established spread sheets to ensure continuing KPI reporting.
* Control all the administrative requirements of the despatch processes and complete these in a timely manner
* Ensure all despatch fixed assets are controlled and accounted for in accordance with the companies policies and procedures.
* Gather and maintain all data and records relative to shipping and receiving activities
* Control all WMS despatch administrative requirements - (yet to be established & agreed)
