About the role

It is a great time to join Swan! Throughout 2019 we are celebrating our 25th Anniversary and have updated our brand to confirm our social purpose, which is to help as many people as possible to have somewhere to feel at home. An exciting position is available now in our Billericay Office for an experienced Purchase Ledger Manager.

 

This role will involve but not be limited to;

  • Supervising 4 Finance Assistants
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Review processes and identify areas of improvement
  • Produce KPI reports and manage month end processes
  • Oversee the accurate and timely inputting of invoices
  • Manage the Purchase Ledger mailbox including allocating invoices
  • Manage payment runs
  • Effectively maintain aged creditors each month​

 

The successful candidate will have/be;

  • Extensive experience managing a purchase ledger team
  • Excellent literacy & numeracy
  • Experience building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of data protection
  • Attention to detail
  • Performance driven
  • Experience using Sun Accounts System would be an advantage but not necessary
