JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title Warehouse Administrator
Adecco are seeking a warehouse administrator for an exciting role working with one of our major industrial clients. This role will impact on the success of the company through contributing to the accurate and timely checking and booking of goods inward.
Responsibilities
The role will ensure:
Effective checking and booking of goods inwards
Co-ordination of bag load planning
Real time updating of dispatch paperwork
Effective communication with Customer Services; Despatch; Production & Accounts Departments
Effective liaison with hauliers via fax / phone / e-mail
Accurate generation of purchase orders in line with sales requirements
Printing and sorting of bag orders according to haulier / delivery day
Accurate and timely stock taking duties
Effective planning around implementing collection / delivery slots
Effective assistance in bag production - listing replenishment quantities
Photocopying and faxing is carried out as required
Sourcing pallets for return to mill
Processing goods return paperwork
Effective implementation of new technologies as required
High levels of customer service are maintained
Provision of administrative &/ technical support to Warehouse staff
Provision of backup cover to all warehouse functions eg picking / loading / receiving goods
Effective monitoring of warehouse housekeeping and reporting on issues to relevant departmentsPersonal Skills
Able to communicate effectively at all levels
Customer focussed
Self motivated
Capable of working in a team environment
Can take own initiative
Pays attention to detail
Can demonstrate problem solving ability
Education & knowledge
The candidate should hold 5 O'Level / GCSE passes at Grade C or above - or equivalent including Mathematics and English
Experience
At least 1 years' experience in an office or warehouse environment
Capable of using of standard computer packages
Prepared to be trained as a Fork Lift Truck driver
Hours of work will be 39 per week Monday to Friday (between (Apply online only))
Physically capable of carrying out warehouse duties
