General Operative & Counter Balance Fork Lift Driver
My client is seeking experienced general operatives to join their team at their production premises in Shepshed, near Loughborough, LE12 .
As an experienced operative you will be used to working in a busy, demanding environment reporting directly to your shift co-ordinator.
As a general operative you will be required to work in a busy, physically demanding role dealing with all aspects of production and warehouse work including: -
• Housekeeping, which does include cleaning and sweeping up as necessary
• Picking & packing
• Loading & unloading vehicles
• Operating machinery such as the bagging machine
• Need to be physically fit and have the ability to lift heavy materials
• Ability to competently and effectively manage time and complete assigned work
• Be a team player and have the ability to coordinate with fellow workers
• Good numeracy skills
Ability to operative a Counter Balance Fork Lift Truck with a valid licence is advantageous but not essential.
There is also other equipment on site such as a JCB and Flexi Truck so previous experience of these would be advantageous.
Full induction and training are provided.
Currently recruiting for the day shift working 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Plus 1 Saturday in 3.
Other shifts include 6am to 2pm Monday to Friday. Plus 1 Saturday in 3.
Nights 10pm to 6am Sunday to Thursday.
This is a full time position offering GBP8.47 per hour.
