Our client are looking for a smart and dynamic London-based designer to join their in-house creative team. Working across the company's client accounts, and supporting our clients offices in London, Chicago and Singapore, the person should provide creative strategy on campaigns and projects, as well as produce a range of collateral and visual graphics.
In addition, our client are looking for someone who can support the development of a stronger creative offering within the agency. Working with others on the design team and agency leaders, the new person will help build a portfolio of creative services and play a key role in establishing collaborative working practices across accounts and across offices.
The ideal candidate is someone who's passionate about all things digital but who also brings proven experience in print work, particularly in custom publishing. In addition to an excellent eye for design, the ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, proven project management skills, an ability to keep a cool head under pressure and a great sense of humour.
Our client works with a range of leading industrial brands, so this is an opportunity to work for some great companies at a leading B2B PR agency.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
A. Design work for clients:
Lead and/or support creative strategy for campaigns and projects
Create various collateral as needed for campaign work, events, product launches, internal communications, promotions etc.
Layout work on digital and print magazines.
Occasional advert design and amendment work as needed.
Image retouching and composition.
Create and edit HTML news release and e-mail templates.
Responsive design work.
B. Design work:
Collaborate with other in-house designers to support the development of our client's creative services offering
Layout for corporate and business collaterals.
Create credentials for new business pitches.
Layout for our client's internal and external publications.
Design ideas for various digital and print promotional items.
Power Point and Canva design work
Computer skills:
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver are essential.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Power Point
Basic knowledge of email marketing tools such as MailChimp, Listrak.
Web development skills is a plus.
As well as a full CV you need to send 5 or 6 examples that can be presented to the client
