The Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) vision is everyone making the most of their money and pensions. This newly formed organisation brings together the three free services previously delivered by the Money Advice Service, The Pensions Advisory Service and Pension Wise. MaPS is an arms-length organisation, sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions, with a joint commitment to ensuring that people have access and guidance to the information they need to make effective financial decisions over their lifetime. To deliver this objective the Industry Delivery Group (IDG) has been formed to design the framework to make Pensions Dashboards a reality.
Your new role
The purpose of the Industry Stakeholder Lead role is to assume responsibility for securing, managing and facilitating the involvement of all Industry stakeholders engaged in the Pensions Dashboard Ecosystem Programme in close partnership with the Workstream Leads.
The Role Holder will organise collaborative Industry Working Groups in all aspects of the design and build through to implementation for this ground-breaking programme reporting into the IDG Stakeholder Lead who in turn reports to the Implementation Director who is accountable to the Implementation Executive.
Some key accountabilities of the role include:
Professional execution of Working Group sessions
Managing risks and resolving Working Group issues
Knowledge transfer amongst Working Groups and Programme Team colleagues
Determining an achievable time table in line with the overall Programme plan
Accountability for addressing the end to end service scope thorough to go-live readiness via Working Groups
Reporting on activity and presenting where necessary
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive practical operational and administrative experience in stakeholder management for large digital programme teams which may include supplier partners, stakeholders such as Regulators and managing the subject matter experts on restricted availability. In addition to programme roles you will have demonstrable ability to be hands on in supporting the Team Leads and various user groups to collaborative co-creation activity and in decision making.
The Role Holder will help identify, prioritise and develop, either in house or through supplier partnerships, the team to manage the Working Group effort over 2 years.
Be organised: Operational and Administrative programme skills that move easily from detail to high level in large scale open data/open banking/regulatory programme within the Financial Services industry
Be empathetic: Strong understanding and expertise in end-to-end operational to-be designs and concepts which support user journeys
Be practical: Project experience for systems products to be used by members of the public
Be delivery focused: Good practical understanding of programme governance principles
Be articulate: Good communication and presentation skills
Be authoritative: Good leader, self-starter and personable, and have
Around 10+ years of experience in Programme Management roles with several years of Stakeholder Management accountability
What you'll get in return
In return you will be placed onto a 2 year FTC and will be paid circa GBP67,500 per annum.
