Technical Assistant (Sieving)
Sheffield S9
Shift allowance for nights.
Full Time 40 hours per week - temp to perm.
Rotating shifts, (Apply online only) / (Apply online only) / (Apply online only)
The safe operation of sieving equipment in conformity with Company operating procedures and the management of sieving documentation to achieve the optimum production of sieved powders that meet with customer specification.
Key responsibilities:
Assist in the set up and operation of sieving equipment
Work with the Sieving Technician and Production Management - Powder Division to determine which sieves to use and to determine feed-rates and settings for ultrasonic/ball trays etc. for each product.
Ensure atomised powders are correctly identified and tested before delivery to the sieving area.
Work closely with the Sieving Technician and Quality Control to ensure correct quality is consistently achieved.
Ensure all hoppers and other containers of powder are correctly identified and stored in known locations.
Ensure all sieving records are kept up to date.
Should the sieves not be in operation, or during any time when not carrying out the responsibilities of an Assistant Sieving Technician, continue to carry out other duties as a member of the shift team a per Powder Technician role and any other reasonable task asked of you.
Candidates must hold a valid counterbalance FLT licence (not in-house).
Attend training sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Work in accordance with Company Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
