Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To provide creative and technical support to staff and students.
* To maintain art equipment (safety and electrical testing, repairs etc)
* To maintain a clear, clean, safe environment for students to work in.
* To support teachers with delivering specific inductions either with the teaching staff member or individually (such as Sewing Machine, print-making and workshop inductions).
* To order and monitor supplies for the Foundation Art Diploma.
* To organise and monitor the storage of student work - past and present.
* To oversee the collection of previous students' work.
* To maintain display areas in the gallery and corridors, working collaboratively with the other technicians on displays for Open Evenings and the annual Art Show.
* To contribute to teaching and learning meetings when appropriate.
* To support FAD students with the display of their work.
* To carry out any other duties, including cross-departmental support that may be reasonably requested
