Our client is well-known Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy, who work in the areas of Town Planning, Heritage Planning, Transportation Planning and Infrastructure Design. They also provide architecture/design, master planning and urban & landscape design services to clients nationwide.
They have a very well established client base across a number of sectors, including residential development of all scales, commercial developments and specialist areas such as education and health, and is well respected for its work across a number of skill sets, across a wide geographic area.
They are now seeking a Director to take over leadership of their Central Scotland Office with diverse and growing workload.
The successful candidate should be RTPI or RICS qualified and have a minimum of 10 years' professional experience, ideally in both public and private sectors. You should have experience of managing a professional team(s), be able to provide leadership and vision, and also be client facing, and be used to, and confident with, a business development role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial and performance planning of the Office and will also have a management role within the wider business and contribute to the company Director's Board.
It is expected that the post holder would move to equity status after a qualifying period.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Responsible for developing the client base;
- Managing the workloads and professional development of the planning staff and ensuring that the required standards are met.
- Client billing and managing an office budget.
- Contributing to Co wide business and development strategy
Commutable areas: Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Stirling, Falkirk, Livingston, Hamilton.
Remuneration will be commensurate with the abilities and potential of the successful candidate and will include a competitive salary, performance linked bonus scheme, Co pension scheme, Co health insurance and a number of other fringe benefits
