Parts Sales Team Leader
GBR Recruitment are working in partnership with a well established specialist machinery business, recruiting for an experienced Parts Sales Team Leader to oversee the companies small parts team of 3 assisting customers with their specific parts / components requirements.

This role would suit a hands on Parts Sales Supervisor, Parts Sales Manager, Parts Advisor, Parts Coordinator, Parts Controller or similar, within the following industries; Agricultural, Construction & Plant Machinery, Specialist Machinery, MHE & Forklifts, Aerial Platforms (AWPS & MEWPS), Road Maintenance Machinery / Vehicles, Rail Maintenance, Automotive, HGV or similar.

Parts Sales Team Leader
Day to Day Duties / Responsibilities:
* Overseeing a team of 3 Parts Advisors delegating work, overseeing work & carrying out the same tasks yourself in this hands on leadership role leading from the front
* Excellent telephone manner with a professional and courteous approach to all customers both externally and internally.
* Answer all incoming calls in a timely manner.
* Respond to all emails in a timely manner
* Raise orders directly onto SAP system
* Parts identification via the in-house parts system & Parts catalogue
* Process price & delivery requests.
* Support customer requests for drawing/diagrams & manuals
* Maintain a high level of customer communication.
* Liaise with the OEM teams to help support our customers.
* Raise all 3rd party purchase orders to fulfill customer requirements.
* Raise quotations for parts / components.
* Raise warranty claims
* Raise parts return requests.
* Liaise with Warehouse and logistics for any urgent dispatch requests.
* Review and maintain Parts Shop orders.
* Review open orders and complete when available.
* Upload all relevant documentation to orders
* Monitor, complete and close all orders raised.
* Have a flexible approach to working hours to support team and business as and when required.
* Support Parts Sales Manager with any agreed pricing discounts.
* Help with any additional scanning and filing for the team
* Look at ways in which to support the business with continued improvements
Experience Requirements:
* Experienced in a Parts role
* Supervisory, Team Leader or Manager experience (hands on carrying out advisor duties too)
* Experience within Construction, Plant, Road Maintenance or one of the other sectors listed above or similar
* Good knowledge of SAP is preferable or other ERP or CRM systems
* Computer literate in excel & word
* Mechanically /technically minded
* Positive attitude to workload and other staff members.
